Ellesmere Port & Neston

Ellesmere Port grew up around its canal docks on the Manchester Ship Canal, and the old dock buildings now house the National Waterways Museum. On the other side of the Wirral, Neston and Parkgate look out across the Dee estuary, where the old quayside at Parkgate faces salt marshes loved by birdwatchers and the Welsh hills beyond.
